Turning Plastic Bottles into Purpose: Join Us in the Three Million Plastic Packaging Challenge!

In alignment with the COP28 Conference, a groundbreaking initiative is taking shape in collaboration with Renie, DGRADE, Dubai Municipality, and sponsored by The Emirates Schools Establishment. We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Three Million Plastic Packaging Challenge – a transformative project aimed at incentivizing plastic recycling by raffling prizes, rewarding sustainable superheroes, and giving plastic bottles a new lease on life, all of the above while making a positive impact on environment and community of Dubai! Our mission? To collect over 3 million plastic bottles from schools across the Emirate. But here’s the exciting twist: these collected bottles will be recycled and transformed into thread, which will then be woven into the fabric to create clothes for our dedicated cleaners. It’s not just about solving the plastic waste problem; it’s about creating purposeful habits by incentivized recycling.

By repurposing these plastic bottles, we not only divert waste from landfills but also contribute to the creation of useful habits that will keep the country clean from plastic. Each bottle diverted from our landfills helps reduce environmental pollution and fosters a culture of recycling and upcycling among our future generations.

Schools play a pivotal role in shaping the future, and we invite every institution to be a part of this noble cause. By participating in this challenge, schools can contribute significantly to the collection target, all while educating students about the importance of waste management, recycling, and social responsibility.

Join us in this incredible journey as we come together to assemble 3 million plastic bottles, transforming them into a symbol of sustainability, care, and support for our community heroes – our cleaners.

Let's stitch a greener, cleaner, and brighter future,
one bottle at a time!
